(NEW) Quick Nail Wraps in Hong Kong — FAQ | Nail n Things

If you can put a sticker on a laptop, you can do this. Our nail wraps give you salon-quality nails in 10 minutes — no drying time, no smudging, no expensive salon bill.
Watch our 60-second tutorial below, then follow the 3 steps.

The 3-Step Method: Peel, Stick, File

Step 1: Prep Like Your Manicure Depends on It (Because It Does)

Nail wraps stick to clean nails, not oily ones. Skip this and they will lift by tomorrow.
  1. Remove old polish. Wash hands. Dry completely.
  2. Push back cuticles.
  3. Lightly buff your nail surface — just enough to remove the shine.
  4. Wipe with the alcohol pad. Do not touch your nails after this.
Pro tip: Apply before bed. Your wraps need 6–8 hours without water to lock in properly.

Step 2: Stick It

  1. Size it first. Hold the strip against your nail before peeling anything. It should be slightly narrower than your nail bed — about 1mm gap on each side.
  2. Peel carefully. Touch only the edges. Finger oil = enemy.
  3. Place at the cuticle. Leave a tiny gap (1mm) between the wrap and your skin. If it touches skin, it will lift.
  4. Press and smooth. From cuticle to tip, press out bubbles as you go.
Curved nails? If you get a wrinkle, snip it with scissors, overlap the edges, and press flat.

Step 3: File and Seal

  1. Fold the excess wrap under your nail tip.
  2. File downward at a 90° angle. Do not saw back and forth.
  3. Seal with a top coat for 3–5 extra days of wear.

For gel wraps: Cure under UV/LED lamp for 60 seconds. Rock-solid finish.

How Long Do They Last?

Type Wear Time Best For
Standard wraps 5–7 days Quick fixes, beginners, travel
Semi-cured gel 10–14 days Events, long wear, gel lovers

Make them last longer: Wear gloves for dishes. Apply cuticle oil daily. Stop picking.

How to Remove Them

Standard wraps: Soak a cotton ball in remover. Hold for 10 seconds. They slide right off.

Gel wraps: Gently lift the edge with a wooden stick. Soak in acetone for 2–3 minutes if stubborn. Never peel forcefully.

The 4 Mistakes Everyone Makes

Mistake The Fix
Lifts after 1 day You skipped the alcohol pad. Do not skip the alcohol pad.
Wrinkles everywhere Wrong size or rushed placement. Slow down.
Wrap too wide Test against your nail first. Trim if needed.
Tips peeling File downward, not back-and-forth. Add top coat.
